Alpine Woodsmoke Apartments Falls Creek offers accommodation for up to ten people per apartment, so bring your friends and family for the ultimate alpine adventure. Our standard apartments sleep eight, the mezzanine apartments sleep ten and the penthouse sleeps six. The apartments are located a short walk away from Falls Creeks ski lifts, restaurants and bars.

Falls Creek is Australia’s finest ski resort, and a true ski-in ski-out alpine village, located in north east Victoria, just 4.5 hours drive from Melbourne and 90 minutes from Albury. Based in the heart of Victoria’s high plains, Falls Creek receives the most snowfall of all Victorian resorts with an average of over four metres per year, and is backed up by extensive snow making facilities.
The Bogong High Plains
Alpine Woodsmoke apartments are within easy reach of Falls Creek’s magnificent walking and mountain bike trails which cover the majestic Bogong High Plains. Easy day walks or challenging rides that take in the historic cattlemens huts, alpine snowgums, wildflowers and Mt Bogong are all few steps away from your door. Boating on our beautiful waterways is another popular pastime.
Falls Creek is 4 ½ hours from Melbourne, an easy day’s drive from Sydney and under 2 hours from Albury.
The Bogong High Plains Road winds gently uphill for around 30kms from Mt Beauty to Falls Creek before continuing on through to the recently sealed road to Omeo.
In winter access to Falls Creek is only via the township of Mount Beauty with the road to Omeo closed at Falls Creek. During the declared snow season the road from Mt Beauty to Falls Creek is regularly cleared of snow and while carrying chains is a legal requirement they are rarely fitted on this road.
